The Via Dolorosa street is usually an energetic melting pot. The sounds of pilgrims chanting (following the footsteps of their Messiah), are mixing with tour guides loud explanations, and the shouts of shop owners, trying to promote their merchandise, Middle Eastern style. Today the shops are closed, the street is peaceful and empty. When will this void be filled with noise and life again?
