To walk through Mahane Yehuda Market on a Friday in the afternoon just before Shabbos is a special experience. The prices are at their lowest, Jewish Ultra-orthodox supervisors are calling for the stand owners to close their shops as fast as possible.
Some street musicians are enjoying the last light and the last audience around. Luckily some of those talented people are my friends; And I happily stop to listen to some good music before everything closes for Shabbos rest.
