Kanafeh is a traditional Arabic dessert, made with semolina or kadaif hairs, goat cheese, and sugar syrup. Some will say that it originated in Turkey, and some will swear that it was invented in the city of Nablus. Traditionally it has always been reserved for Arabs and the Ramadan cuisine. Recently places that serve it in the Jewish markets sprung like mushrooms after the rain.
I understand the trend, this is truly a perfect dessert!
